Our Story

Exo-Hike Colorado started during a trip I took to Maui. I was hiking the Makamakaole Trail, surrounded by a rainforest so bright and alive it felt like color was invented there. It was calm, beautiful, and one of those places that makes you stop and breathe.
As I walked, I kept thinking about my mother. She loves nature, but long walks and uneven terrain aren’t easy for her anymore. Standing there, I realized she would probably never get to experience this kind of place. That didn’t sit right with me.
I knew exoskeleton technology existed, and for the first time I could see how it could change real lives. Not just for my mother, but for anyone facing mobility limitations, altitude challenges, aging joints, or old injuries. People come to Colorado to explore, but many feel shut out by the physical demands of our trails.
So the idea took shape:
What if we could remove those barriers and give more people access to the outdoors?
That idea became Exo-Hike Colorado.
We use supportive lower-body exoskeletons and guided hikes to help people explore farther, feel steadier, and enjoy the mountains with confidence. Our goal is simple: make the outdoors more accessible, bring people together, and empower people to see places they thought they couldn’t reach.
Everyone deserves the chance to experience something beautiful. We’re here to make that possible.
